MAC select moisturecover concealer

Every time i apply undereye concealer i find them all to be too drying, making my concealer looking cakey. No matter how much moisturiser or underye cream i use the concealer looks cakey and creases.
First things first, when a MAC artist tells you something is your colour but your gut tells you different, go with your gut! A mac artist gave me NW25 which was clearly darker than my foundation when you suppose to go a shade or two shades lighter than your foundation!! Ridiculous. Secondly MAC's NW is for cool skin tones and NC is for the warmer more coloured women. This can get confusing since it clearly W should mean warm right? anyway, enough about that she gave me NW25 when I'm clearly yellow based. So i went back and got a NC20 which is a perfect undereye concealer for me.
The concealer is:
  • moisturising
  • creamy
  • blendable
  • light - medium coverage
  • not at all cakey
However since i have fine lines i have noticed at the end of the day it can crease.

MAC Viva glam ii (by Lady Gaga)

Its a very nice formula: very 'creamy and moisturising'. lol i seem to say that a lot nowadays dont i? But if you noticed i dislike really greasy or matte products. I love it when its just a perfect balance :)
It has a satin finish, but i wouldnt say this is long lasting.
The colour is a little pale so i wouldn't recommend this to women of colour, however if you were insistent of wearing this be sure to blend very well as this colour can sometimes look too pale & make you look ill which is NOT ATTRACTIVE. However if you like that look, go ahead & rock it girl! Dont let no-one put you down. To avoid the ill look wear a flattering lip pencil underneath to make the lipstick suitable to your skin tone or wear a lipgloss on top & trust me it'll look fine no matter how pale of a lipstick it is.
Thumbs up to the Viva Glam Campaign! 100% of the proceeds go to the MAC Aids Fund!

Rimmel lasting finish lipsticks by Kate Moss review

Out of the collection i only got four lipsticks (03,04,08,12). The lipsticks are very pigmented. They apply very velvot-ey and almost creamy and have a satin-matte finish. It is also quiete moisturising not to a point where you wouldnt need chapstick since this does lean more towards a matte finish. I wouldnt say they have a glossy finish. They smell just like the other rimmel lipsticks, come dislike the smell but personally i love it.

03 - browney nude
04 - is a very very dark purple
08 - dusty pinkish mauve colour
12 - reddish orange

Bourjois healthy mix foundation and concealer review

Bourjois healthy mix foundation and concealer
I got both the foundation & concealer in no. 52

 It has: apricot for radiance
           melon for hydration
             apple for anti oxidant
       ginger for energy

These ingredients make the foundation smell so yummy and fruity. This may be unsuitable for those who are sensitive to fragrance but i wouldn't say its strong either because I'm never able to smell it however when someone comes up close to my face i.e my boyfriend his always saying my face smells like a baby, so fruity.

So I've heard this is comparable to the neautrogena healthy skin foundation which unfortunately isn't available in the UK (wipes a tear).

Foundation
This is AMAZING for us drier girls out there. Its so moisturising and smooth. This is my current fave at the moment. I think I've found my holy grail foundation. This is exactly what my skin needs and what i was looking for in a foundation. It has a sheer dewy-satin finish and applies on really smoothly. I would say this is light coverage maybe if you wanted you could build the coverage to medium. I have the original formula however i have seen the gel based formula in store which would be more suitable for those who have an oily skin type. Additionally, one thing i noticed about the foundation is that you must let it set before taking flash pictures. I have no idea why but I've realised this about most foundations. Immediately after i applied this i took a flash picture to see if it shows a white cast and it look two shades lighter than my skin tone! I almost returned this, however i gave this foundation another try and took a picture later during the day and it looked like a perfect match. I wear this almost everyday now. The foundation says to have up to 16 hrs of wear but i wouldn't know since i only wear my make up till about 8-9 hours max & i don't powder my foundation since i have dry skin so i don't need to. So i cant comment much on the lasting power.

Concealer
The concealer is clearly a thicker consistency however i wouldn't say this is full coverage. Its a light - medium coverage. I'm not so impressed with the concealer i mean yeah its great but theres no wow factor about it, not saying theres a fault with it. Its clearly down to preference.

Both these products are not heavy & easily blend able. Perfect combination if you ask me. xD

quick little update* -  As i've written above the gel formula is for oily types. however ive been mistaken, the gel formula is actually suited better for drier skin types where as the original formula is for oily to combination skin types but be sure to set with powder otherwise it would transfer

myself i dont see much of a huge difference between the two formulas. But i do agree the gel formula is a little more hydrating.

Dermalogica clean start review

So roughly a year ago i broke out from really bad spots so i done my research and heard dermalogica is great for breakouts!
So i got the little starter pack of all the products. They all work well together to get rid of breakouts i must say but i'll recommend the whole set to someone who is prone to breakouts and has oily. Myself, i have normal to dry skin so if i were to use these products in conjunction on a regular basis my skin would dry out. But these two produts have really stood out for me! I use the bed time for breakouts in areas where theres loads of spots in one region or when you get them tiney pimples as this works for me and by the next morning the redness is gone and the spot is almost invisible. The reason why i dont use hit the spot is because it'd most probably dry that area of the skin which isnt necessary since its only small pimples.
However i'd use hit the spot for larger as in higher bumpier or them painful spots. This product is truly amazing! This has lasted me just about a year. Yes i did go back to repurchase. This is really a holy grail. Its not till it ran out did i really how much of a difference it makes (as cheesey as it sounds yes, its true). I cant cant explain in words how good this is. This is amazing, your suppose to apply this before moisturiser but i feel as though this rubs off if i were to apply it like that so i either apply it after moisturiser or after make up. Dont worry it dries clear!
If i were to apply it at night by mornibg it'd reduce the redness and it'd be a bit flatter. It says to appy every 6-8 hours however i apply every 4 hours for faster results. Believe me when i say this; the spot would be almost invisible by the next day (24 hours ofc, not overnight)! Amazing. I've tried other spot sticks from superdrug, neautrogena, garnier but they all take couple of days to dry out the spot even if i were to apply every 2-3hrs.
Sorry for the long ramble but you guys needed to know how much of a life saver these products are!

4-5 star rating!

The active ingredient in both these products is salicylic acid so you wanna be careful where you apply it. Make sure you avoid sensitive areas like the eye region.

Rimmel crack your colour crazy top coat review

Wow ain't that a long tongue twister.
Amazing, the effect is just as good as the OPI crackle nail polishes.
Yh thats what i thought when i first got it. Two weeks later, when i attempted to use this again the polish had all gone gooey and almost hard. In other words it dried up. I was so dissapointed. So thats about another fiver down the drain!
I don't know if it was just my nail polish or if they're all like that but based on my experience i would not recommend this to anyone! Its a waste of money. However No7 have also recently come out with a cracking top coat collection, which is worth a look. I've got the purple one and they've got a range of other colours too. I've had mine for about a month and it hasnt dried up yet. However you do have to work with it fast because the effect happens almost instantly. Enough of me rambling (covers face) this is suppose to be about the rimmel polish.
